.) Overall concept : 10 Lounging in a bathtub and swamped by envelopes, Tammy and her obscenely ostentatious high heels are certainly quite a fearsome site to behold. The concept behind this show opener is downright hilarious. I think you've set up a strong, vivid personality set in a simple yet very informative story that is quite effective.
.)Overall Visual Form - 9 The point of view used in this is very appropriate. The close, almost intimate mood of it feels right along with the idea of Tammy answering our personal questions.
.)Use of Duration - 10 When working on my own opener, I realized just how long 30 seconds can seem when you have to create a motion graphic to fill it. But you did an excellent job of using the time allotted. When I finished watching the movie the first time, I was surprised because it actually didn't feel like a 30-second piece. You definitely get so caught up in watching Tammy's antics that you don't notice or really care about the elapse of time.
.) Overall Use of Motion - Motion here was utilized very well, it adds a lot to the depth of the opener.
.) Overall Use of Transition - 10 I like the idea of having several clips playing at once sometimes on the screen, its definitely more interesting that watching a single one. You also did a good job with the choice to create a hierarchy in the video clips as well - my attention focuses on the largest of the clips, while the smaller ones don't distract too much, but support the narrative.
.) Hierarchy of communication channels There is definitely a clearly set hierarchy in this opening; with an emphasis on image/video and music. The music itself feels very appropriate, and definitely gives the opener an almost sassy feel when watched. I think the mix of channels here is quite effective; the host's facial and body expressions are bold and visual enough to supplement the light touches of text.
